Joey takes us behind the scenes of record production — from his early “drums first” approach to how his workflow has evolved to “drums last,” sharing what those first conversations with artists look like and how he helps them create the best version of their music possible. Joey also talks about his passion projects outside of the studio, including URM Academy, where he teaches the next generation of producers, and Joey Sturgis Tones, the game-changing plugins that help artists everywhere achieve that signature Joey Sturgis sound.
